Credentials
I first started working in the travel industry, at the age of 18,
as a customer sales representative with Avis Rent A Car. Afterward,
I held positions with two nationally recognized travel firms during
which time I received extensive training as well as valuable first
hand travel experience.
One of my most memorable adventures was when I had the opportunity
to spend a little over a month in Germany. I still have family in
"the old country" and was able to spend time with them, meeting
many of them for the first time, as we traveled all over, seeing
many historical areas and castles. It was an amazing trip and I
would recommend traveling to Germany if you are able and would
welcome the opportunity to share my experience with you.
I have also been to several destinations a little closer to home,
including a number of the Caribbean islands (San Juan, St. Thomas,
St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Nassau, Freeport, Bermuda, Barbados, and
St. Lucia); and had the opportunity to experience several different
types of shore excursions while sailing onboard Carnival, Princess,
and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Another great place to visit is
Disney and Universal Orlando and I get down to Florida whenever I
can.
I have earned my CTA certification and have also completed in-depth
specialization training that covers travel destinations all over
the world. At this time, I am "College of Disney Knowledge"
certified and I have also received specialty travel certifications
from Carnival, Princess, Cunard and Royal Caribbean cruise lines as
well as from Travel Bound.
